📚 Book Character Parade 2025

Dear Jaguar Families,

We’re excited to invite you to our annual Book Character Parade! Each year, students get to dress up as their favorite book characters and parade around campus for our J&B family and friends to enjoy. It’s a joyful celebration of reading, creativity, and community! We’re eager to have your student(s) participate and would love for you to join us!


📅  Date: Friday, October 31, 2025

 ⏰ Time: 8:15 AM

 📍 Location: J&B Drop-Off Lane 


Parents and families are welcome to watch the parade.Students will walk with their class through the drop-off lanes, while parents stand behind the center median gate (between the drop-off lane and the parking lot).

We encourage all students to take part in this fun tradition!


👕 What Students Should Wear & Bring:

1. A book character costume of their choice

2. The book that matches their character (from home, our school library, their classroom, or the public library.) If your student needs help finding a book, please have them reach out to their teacher or our school librarian, Mrs. Schenkel.

✨ Costume Guidelines:

1. Costumes must be school-appropriate for all ages.

2. NO weapons, masks, fake blood, or scary items.

3. Costumes do not need to be store-bought. Creative DIY costumes are encouraged!

📖 Students must bring their book to carry in the parade.
